WE ARE HAPPY WITH OUR BROKER, WHY CHANGE?

WE ARE HAPPY WITH OUR BROKER, WHY CHANGE?

Your brokerage is hopefully doing an excellent job. Assuming this is the case, it should have no issue with another consultancy offering prices by comparison.

We have unfortunately seen too many occasions where brokerages are getting too comfortable and have been incorporating excessive commissions, to the client’s financial detriment. In other scenarios an incomplete tender is done with just the incumbent supplier and other ‘favoured’ suppliers without a full market review. More common, most brokerages will only look at a tender against historic bills, disregarding any underlying charges that may be adding to your costs substantially.

All we ask is the opportunity to compare.

OK, BUT WE GO DIRECT TO A SUPPLIER; HOW CAN YOU BEAT THIS?

OK, BUT WE GO DIRECT TO A SUPPLIER; HOW CAN YOU BEAT THIS?

We manage over £80m worth of contracted utilities and, together with our good reputation and position as one of the UK’s leading consultancies, this ensures that our purchasing power keeps suppliers keen and prices low. In addition, our agreements with over 30 suppliers ensure that suppliers know they need to remain competitive to compete.

WE ARE ALREADY IN A SUPPLY CONTRACT?

WE ARE ALREADY IN A SUPPLY CONTRACT?

This is not a problem.

Where the bill is based upon incorrect assumptions such as wrong standing charges, we can often get them changed within contract. Our knowledge of utility taxation and especially Climate Change regulations has enabled us regularly to get bills reduced within contract. Other areas, such as Meter Operator Agreements and metering changes dependant on your consumption patterns, can all reduce underlying costs, even mid-contract.

Also, knowing when your existing contract expires will enable us, subject to your agreement, to seek a competitive future contract at an early stage.

SAVING YOU TIME AND MONEY

SAVING YOU TIME AND MONEY

An individual client rarely has the time nor the expertise to approach, or is even aware of, the numerous suppliers able to offer competitive products suitable to your business in terms of pricing, meter adjustments and so on to improve on delivered cost.

We also handle time-consuming disputes, ensuring that billing errors are corrected in a timely manner, often with compensation paid.

WHAT'S THE NEXT STEP?

WHAT'S THE NEXT STEP?

All we need to see is your utility information, any of the following: –

  • one recent month’s copy bill per meter;
  • a utility contract;
  • a schedule of supplies;
  • a letter of authority allowing us to contact your suppliers.

These can be uploaded through the website, or emailed through to us or you can request a call-back when one of our senior consultants can discuss your needs.
We assess, advise of competitiveness, of any errors in the contract and, in some cases, whether the contract can be re-agreed to your benefit.
