Scenario

Russel and Juliette Joffe, the founders of Giraffe Restaurant Group opened and are expanding a multi-site restaurant group including brands such as Monkey Nuts, Chootz, Bob’s Café, Chez Bob.

Clients used Control Energy Costs prior to meeting and engaging Dr Cost.

At the 2016 tender for all their sites the clients were advised that due to company restructuring they would be best advised to stay with one supplier, SSE for all sites.

A new site meter proposal would have meant significant delays due to the lengthily time required for new supply point, meter install and contract implementation.

Resolution

Dr Cost not only benchmarked CEC’s best prices but ensured that on bespoke tendering Dr Cost implemented savings of over £15,000 or almost 16% against these.

We monitor all billing and ensure that all information is correct successfully ensuring that late bills due to P272 regulations were resolved and contingencies prepared for financial accounting.

We arranged for meter installation at new site within four working days. We liaised with electrical contractors on site to ensure this was done speedily to meet the opening of the new site.

Dr Cost provided supply numbers and details for the gas at a new site and had an old meter reactivated to ensure delays were kept to a minimal.
